Henrik Vibskov

As always you know that Henrik will create something new, fun and inspiring for his collections. He would never just use a normal catwalk as a setting for his shows. This season it was a giant pink tongue with black taste buds. AND inside this tongue some people emerged and with their upper body also dressed in pink and with a black hood around the face. The started dancing and feeling their way on the tongue; I have never seen anything like this, but it worked. It looked great and it was really a new experience, a piece of moving and dancing art.

After several minutes the actual show started, it was difficult to see as too many people had arrived to see the show and we were almost standing on top of each other. This is the problem to all his shows, which is rather annoying!

But with standing on my tip toes, trying to balance and reaching out with a camera in one hand, I got to see most of the collection.

I really liked the part that had inspiration from the tongue, the pink styles with holes in them or with black spots. Also the cool felt hats with round holes all around. The men’s suit in white with the big red and black X was also pretty cool and I guess it will be a statement piece for the men’s collection
