Hair by Herlitschek

Trusting the creatives!
Last week, Thursday I went to visit my dear good friend Jonas, who's a hairdresser and hairstylist! You may remember him from my Peepers days and my Q shoot as he was the one in charge of the hair and actually the one to do my hair at the q shoot.
Jonas is an amazing 21 year old guy with lots of creativity on his mind, he is gentle and sweet and very forthcoming. So it was not difficult for me to put my hair in his destiny/hands. Note to you: I have been seeing the same hairdresser for about 15 years and only his students under observations have touched my hair in those years. So it is actually a big deal to get my hair cut by someone else!
But I trusted my hair in Jonas hands with a scissor and comb!
What to do?
We had beforehand discussed what I wanted to happen with my hair, though Jonas quickly forgot one sentence saying that I really wanted to grow my hair long. Though I was in doubt as I love short hair and all the cool possibilities with short hair. Colour-wise we both agreed on the bluish black colour which I think is very cool here for the winter season! And of course we agreed to keep my undercut, which I still am totally in love with, even though it's soooo last season.
Well, I love Jonas as a little brother and I guess he also thought I would look great with short hair as he began to cut my hair. Therefore I did not mention anything about the long hair until the end, which came as a surprise to him (he really had forgotten our discussion). I laughed, joked a little and told him that everything was fine.
The result
I ended up with rather short hair, I happy that I have a big oversized scarf to cover my neck and ears ;)
Jonas had shorten my undercut and made my hair even more asymmetrical- right side very short, above my ears and with an skewed angle towards my chin. The left side almost the same, just longer. So I can really change my look depending on which side I divide my hair and also make it more pretty sweet with a middle parting.
The bluish black was really cool, though I guess it could have been even more blue, but then I should have had my hair bleached beforehand, which I am not really into, maybe next time.
I would definitely recommend Jonas as a hairdresser and hairstylist, he has an eye for seeing what really fits your face and style. Even though we had talked a little about colour and style, I gave him the freedom to do whatever he found the best. He described his plans and I went along. I really think the result ended up very well, my "normal" hairdresser could't have done a better job, so props to Jonas!
So give yourself a treat and book an appointment at Hairconstruction at Østerbro, where Jonas has his chair!

I asked Jonas a few questions trying to get to know him a little better, some of his answers surprised me and kinda reminded me of myself.

Five words or less that describe your own style:
personal, dark/black, inspiring, innovative, flawsome.

Before I die I would like to…?
Inspire people all around the world, make sure to be remembered.
Make something of myself, and be certain that I've achieved what I wanted.

Did you know this about me…?
I can't stand if anything is uneven, different levels, or not parallel.

My philosophy of life is:
Always Remember - Never Forget.

One of my flaws is...!?
I sometimes put others needs on top of my own.  (meaning, I love make other people happy, and fond of what I do, but sometimes, I forget about myself in the moment).
