Chiang Mai Classics

Both my boyfriend and I are writing our thesis's in this moment and don't really have the money for going out on fancy restaurants every month, we save up some months or buy some "deals". So when I received the newsletter from Silver Spoon that they subbrand Street Corner Kitchen was having a Chiang Mai classics night I went for it right away. Their new chef Kiki Sontiyart had arranged a 3 course Thai dinner for 180 kr., which is a really nice price!
We had a lovely evening with nice food, mango juice and talking for hours about something and nothing. Just what we needed to get our heads away from the daily work and writing. I can definitely recommend all to follow these concepts on Facebook or sign up for their newsletter. They often have these cheaper events as well as the really expensive gourmet and experience dinners.

The dinner:

SAI UA
Herb pork sausage heavily mixed with lemongrass and lime leaf
Sticky rice
Roasted chili dip

KHAO SOI
Braised beef cheeks in coconut broth served with fresh egg noodle and pickled mustard greens.

DESSERT
 "Panna Cotta" with lychee granita

 All ingredients are being prepared
The noodles are being made live at the kitchen!

 SAI UA
 KHAO SOI
