The last month I have been visiting the amazing Danish jewellery designer Mai Johannesen, also known as Treokai.
First time I saw the Kyudo collection I fell in love, this was so my style and the earring with cuff was the one I really wanted to own, it was perfect! So bold as I am, I contacted Mai, and we planned to do some fittings. As all ears are different, you need to get the earring fitted for the perfect fit. I went two times and Mai made sure the length were perfect, so it didn't punched my cheek, the cuff loose enough, so that it wouldn't hurt my ear but still tight enough to keep it in the ear. After the two fittings, Mai contacted me for the final (third) fitting and hopefully the last. And it was, the fit was perfect!
Treokai is not the cheapest brand, but as all jewellery is handmade and most of them needs to be fitted, I think the prices are very fair. First of all the designs are really unique, very feminine and streamlined/minimalistic. And then they are all unique and fitted for you only!
I am totally in love with my new earring and can't wait to flash it to all the summer parties!
