...beacause it can become very expensive, if you don't control your shopping gene.
Yesterday I went to the FinderKeepers market at Korsgadehallen in Nørrebro. I had actually won a VIP ticket from the blogger Katrine Krogh otherwise I wouldn't have gone this time, as I don't really have the money to spend. But now that I had a ticket I did cashed out 1000 Dkr from the bank. And did actually "only" spend around 100+200+250+20=570 Dkr. And I also received a great goodiebag!
Below you can see what I bought and got in my goodiebag as well as some of the interesting people I met at this seasons market.
Julie Hyld a graphic Designer from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. She makes these amazing illustrations which I fell totally in love with. FIrst time around the market I didn't buy any, but sitting on the stair, having a break and a overview of the stands/booths, still thinking about her illustrations, I went back and bought these two below:
"Flora" and "the Gun"
A cute couple or maybe just friends had this cool little stand/booth with interesting illustrations, actually all of us (my two friends and I), bought a piece from them. I bought the "a melon sorbet dream" which you can see on the Instagram photo in the beginning of the post. It's three different sized scoops of icecream and a almost invisible cone in the background and then a text inside the scoops saying " a melon sorbet dream". I really like the naive inspiration, the colouring and the almost invisible cone, it means you have to study the piece to really understand it, I like that!
I am considering buying some more from them, for example these below: "Blow me", "Rorschach butterfly" or "Rorschach bug"
Thomine and Art Fellow Louise Thomine is one of my favourite illustrators, she has this amazing universe, uses some great colours and draws these beautiful women.I have actually ordered a unique drawing from inspired by her Samurai girls, I am really looking forward to seeing the first sketches. But at this market I couldn't resist myself and bought some small approximately A5 sized postcards with these three prints:
"Fly", "Rorschach" and "Primadonna"

Liv Caroline, has a Bachelor degree in Creative Communication at the Danish School of Media (former The Graphic Arts Institute of Denmark)and I think she has a very talented stroke and idea. Especially her stories around the little blond guy Bob, has caught my attention. I like storytelling and these are so delicate in their style and so spot on, it works! I am considering when I get an office to have the whole series on creativity.
"When being in love"
"When being a creative person"
Louise Overgaard, a Danish designer and illustrator, based in Copenhagen and educated at Skolen for Visuel Kommunikation. She has also taken a course at Helle Mardahl, whom I know from my designer days and being intern at her fashion studio.
I really her Bird illustrations, I like the colours and unfinished look strokes and splattern like endings. I couldn't decide which one to buy and I really liked her originals, but couldn't afford it know, so I have to visit her once again when I have the money. But here you have an idea of her works.
I love my type started by art director Kathrine Højriis with a love for types. I think there is something interesting with her posters, maybe it's the used of letters and fonts in different sizes and the layout that catches my eyes, but I kinda like them. And the cool part of their concept is, that you can actually make some customs posters with your names on the posters etc. Pretty cool!
I am already thinking of wedding or child birth presents.

I am loving their collection called Bleached typography, they have done together with Keta Gutmane. Looking through their designs, I found both the fabrics and print very nice.
I loved their sweatshirt dress "mountain" and the "pigeon" shorts with splattern dots in both black and grey
I am definitely going to have an extra look at their collection which is currently being sold at Danish Donn Ya Doll.
Paula Hagerskans, a self-taught jewelry Swedish designer. I fell, right away, in love with her necklace with the oval slim branch. Wow it was amazing, but about 3000Dkr, was not in my allowance this month. So I have to have this in mind when I have that kind of money. But I really like her designs and the organic look.
Gry Fager, a very well-known ceramic designer, but maybe not by name but by her design for Normann Copenhagen, the Grandma or in Danish Mormor collection. I love her stitches collections, here with hearts and leaves. The hearts edition very suitable for the Christmas table, I am considering buying a few pieces.
Skandinavien Træ, Designed by Marte Herness og Josefine Bruus. An interesting company making designs of wood. Something I definitely like, though I must say that even though it would be difficult, but only making iPhone cases makes me a bit sad! But I kinda understand them and I really like the cases and the engraving looks really good. I hope to see a lot more of this in the future, nice engraved wooden products for accessories, home interior etc.
