Sasha Nassar's Arab Spring

She is the winner of the MUUSE x Fashion Scout Award for best womenswear collection from London Graduate Fashion Week‘s International Show.

Sasha Nassar comes from a multicultural family, a mixture of Jewish and Arab nationalities, which in most ears sounds very difficult and rather exciting. She has used this background and the Arab Spring as a inspiration for her graduation collection - an Arab spring collection for women, it is their turn to experience and move forward. She designed clothes that embraces and shows off the female body and the beauty within. She uses soft and sheer fabrics with amazing patterns which leads us into the ethnic world, you get intoxicated and want to experience more. I am really looking forward to seeing more from Sasha, she is very promising and has a simplistic strong talent.

You should definitely follow her as she will, together with MUUSE, design her first ready-to-wear collection. I can't wait and hope it will be something similar to this collection and a wearable burka - I would wear that!
