Yesterday I had a quick look around the design fair Blickfang in Øksnehallen, Copenhagen. I must admit, I was a little bit disappointed, I hope for a lot more design stands/booths and less clothing. I hope for a lot bigger fair, with much more interior designs, furniture maybe even new and innovative garden accessories, like something for urban gardening, windowfarming etc. But then again, I didn't know what to expect of the fair and all in all, I wasn't that disappointed about the fair as I did find some new interesting brand other than the ones I already knew like, Nordisk Trä, TouChé, Veronica B Vallenes, Cinnober and FindersKeepers. And I would surely go by next time to see if there are any news.
The companies I look at were these:
Hanna Ernsting makes these super cute stools in shape of animals and made in nice and soft fabrics. Perfect for a childish adult like me or for the kids room.
Schönstaub makes beautiful, highly creative carpets, I fell for this blue Nebula carpet. It was so beautiful and amazing to look at, but a price of about 12.000 DKR, I think I have to wait a little, but it's definitely on my future house decor wishlist!

Morphorm makes these super fine porcelain Fortune Cookies which can be bought at Berlin Designs webshop. They are so delicate and fragile that you wont even try to break one of them to get the saying inside. It's perfect for friendship presents, wedding favours or just as a little something nice for your girl/boyfriend.
Lex Pott, a Dutch designer which makes all kinds of products also makes these cool and fashionable vases. I really liked the tall green one with copper bottom. I don't know who sells them online or if he sells in any shops in Copenhagen, but I really find these amazing, minimalistic and trendy. I am thinking on my Christmas wishlist or my future house decor wishlist.
Blickfang is open tomorrow as well, from 10-18:00.
