Sunday I went to this amazing event with loads of sweets, cakes, cookies and Christmas spirits! It was the fifth Sweet Sneak event, where some sweet bakerettes have made several cakes, cookies, cupcakes and macaroons for us to taste and crave! It was my first time, but I knew it would be something that I would love, as I am really a sweet craver!
We were some of the first guest, and luckily for that, as soon loads of people came crashing in and the place was packed and the queue longer. But we had rationed with several pieces of cake and could just sit and enjoy a sweet time in the corner of Voules Vouz café which was the setting of this event. I got to taste a gluten free chocolate cake, a chocolate brownie, three different macaroons, a licorice and fir needle cupcake as well as a white chocolate and cranberry scone. Yeah, quite a lot of tasting, though we shared it all, just to taste even more of the sweets! The best cake must have been the chocolate brownie, rich in flavour and the right amount of mushiness but the scone was also really great and different from the ones you buy at the local bakery. This event is simple something one must visit, as the atmosphere is relaxed and happy, the cakes amazing and the prices fair. Most of the cakes was a bout 25 DKK per piece, and the pieces weren't small. I am definitely looking for the next date!
