Do you know Max Tan? Most Scandinavians might not unless they have been to the Gallery Fashion Fair and spotted them. Though you will not be loads of colours or accessories. There is some Asian simplicity in the design, but also something very avant-garde and classic in their details and choice of colours.
I have known about this Singaporean brand for a few years, and I liked their designs very much. Last season of Copenhagen Fashion Week, I was able to get a closer look on the collection and talked with the team. I noticed all the details, like the amazing pattern design which really gives the clothes a Asian twist almost Origami like. I also like the simplicity of the look and the colours which reminded me of Danish Barbara í Gongini and Swedish V Ave S. R. (Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair). But still you will find something completely else here precisely because of the detailing like swallow tails, open sleeves, fold in's and the draping.
I could show you the AW14 collection but as I am know some of the SS14 styles are out in the stores now, I want you to get the chance to see and try out the pieces now. Therefore the images are from the SS14 campaign and in the end, you will be able to see the styles in action on the catwalk.
Collection which will arrive in Nagstore these days, hurry down the shop at Pilestræde and check out the collection. I have already been by the store to get my swallow tail vest!
