I like
to shop, shop till I drop!
I have
a keen sense of style and often go for the different items that really make an
outfit! I wear both high street and the more expensive brands; I like to mix it
all together to make my own style. And I don't really have the money to only
buy the expensive and limited editions brands, even though I would love to.
Though I think a lot of high street brands are really getting the design
right, copies or not, they do make some beautiful clothing. I normally look at
high street stores like, H&M, Topshop,
especially their Unique or boutique brands and of course also ASOS, which gathers
both high street and high fashion brands in one online shop.
In
Denmark, we also have cool concept stores like Youheshe, Nag People and So last season, which
all have both web shops and physical stores. They all deal with rather
expensive well-known brands like Helmut Lang, Stine Goya, Vilsbøl de Arce or Noir. The last store, So Last Season is actually an outlet store and sells last
season products, but an excellent store it still is!
Other
stores to mention is &Pagne, Storm and Notabene.
&Pagne is one of my favourite Copenhagen
stores, they really sell some of the most exciting brands and the sales personnel
are nice and friendly. They carry brands like Alexander Wang, Future Classics, and
Anne Vest etc. Storm is one of the eldest concept stores in Denmark, it's very
fashionable and rather expensive. But it's a visit worth and maybe you can
afford the cool design and fashion books, perfumes or underwear. Otherwise you
could try out some of the really expensive brands like Balmain, just for fun ;)
International
stores I always go by Glassworks Studios for the latest
Helmut Lang updates, Luisa Via Roma for other known
fashion brands and by the way, their store in Florence is fantastic!
Below, I have listed a few of my favourite shops and designers. There are links below to the shops and designers, so that you can find the nearest retailer. Or plan your visit, when you have the time to travel to the lovely city of Copenhagen!
