The Fashion Activist: CAIA

Yesterday, I went to a store opening at the Swedish brand CAIA. I did not know this brand but was intrigued by their Facebook, as I love leather and accessories. I didn't have that many expectations, but hoped for the best. And I got the best!

In this great street of Tullinsgade 25, a small shop has emerged with vintage décor cool leather accessories and jewellery mixed with vintage jewellery, suitcases and art. I loved the décor, it really matched CAIA's products very well and the mood was amazing.

For the event the team had really gone to the wild side to impress us with delicious cheeses, sausages, grapes, bread, wine and soda. And not to forget the chocolate covered almonds and peanuts! We were really in for a treat and even more because of the goodiebags, which I will tell you about later!

The Fashion Throw Up in action

The company is the child of the 29 year old designer Caisa Leifsdotter Iversen from Sweden. The primary business of CAIA is really nice leather products, cool bags and purses, jewellery like necklaces, bracelets and earrings. She makes them all kinds of colour variations and can even do special request if it's not too difficult. She chooses only the best quality of leather and the colours are vegetable colouring and even the lining is in ecological cotton. The prices are from about 200 - 4000 DKR for a pair of earrings to a big weekend bag, which I found really fair especially because of the great quality, detailing and ethics.

I bought one earring in a dark green with a golden triangular tip, after seeing the pair on PR responsible Sofie. I had to have it and even though it was the last one...Sofie had to give hers up for me. Great service, I like! ;)

Talking about Service and the designer Caisa: Caisa must be the definition of the Swedish blonde woman and with her great personality, beauty and sense of style, you can't be enough a fan of her and her designs.

Her friendly approach and sweet nature makes the visit worth your while, this attitude makes you want to come again and again, you would actually wish for this feeling every time you visit a store or any business.

I will definitely come again, especially to take a look for the black triangular "cutted/braided" clutch and the braided bracelet in pink. See and shop some of the products here or go visit her new shop!

The wallets, let me tell you- they were fabulous and have at least four rooms and one with a zipper for coins. I really like the design and it's in leather, it can't be better!
