Asger Juel Larsen ss14

My first show this season was Asger Juel Larsen and I had really been looking forward to this show as he normally makes quite exciting prints and what I consider to be unisex pieces. This season it also seemed like he had made a few more women pieces which I of course enjoyed very much.
Thinking back on the first collection, this collection seems more adult and subtle, this could be in due to make some sale, as safer items would be easier to sell. But no worries, the collection still showed the signature style of Asger, a sporty and "street-like" youthful style with lots of print bold items and cool styling.
This season he had made a collaboration with the Danish rainwear brand Rains, (a brand to watch)which resulted in some cool bronze items and some bags, all rain-protected as far as I know. The items are really fabulous and would properly sell well in countries like Denmark where we often use raingear and hate the dorky look on most rainwear, this would be the obvious fashion choice!
Otherwise the print was a jungle of digital printed, difficult to explain and see from a distance whoch actually went well with the simple patterning of the products. I also liked the neoprene (and like) comeback which were seen in the white items like the body and hooded jacket.

I must admit I am still in love with his first collection, there was something amazing and new about it, but I am sure we will see a lot more exciting things from this guy!

The images below are my favourites from the SS14 collection, you can see a lot more be following the link below from Copenhagen Fashion Week.

A young teen blogger who does not know how to dress for fashion week and finds out the lace mask is not that nice to wear, but knows how to gain attention.
Or does she know how to dress? Because what is fashion week without attention?
