Q&A about fall fashion

What is your must-have for fall?

A super beautiful and sexy dress from Danish Vibe Johansson! I pre ordered it some months ago and I can't wait to get hold of it and wear it for Christmas or New Years Eve. She designs amazing feminine mostly black items and I am in love especially with her dresses. And together with a cool bra (Whitney) from Agent Provocateur, I will rule this winter!

 

What will be your next fashion purchase this season?

I have actually been looking at another bra from Agent Provocateur, the Annoushka, as I have seen it being style pretty cool on top of dresses. I am a sucker for such different details and nice underwear shouldn't be underestimated! It's an expensive buy, but thinking of the styling opportunities I think it's worth it!

What do you like about the fashion changes caused by the cold seasons?

I like that you can wear more products and totally accessorize your outfit with hats, scarves and gloves.I like that you can mix and match both the more summer like fabrics with heavy knits, suede and leather. You have so many choices and everything is allowed.And its OK to dress comfy!

Where do you go for a warm cup of coffee in Copenhagen on a cold day?

I don't drink coffee or at least not normal coffee. So I would properly go for a Choko Iceblend or Chai latte at Baresso with my laptop and work a little.But with a friend I would chose a lot cosier café, maybe Strangas because they have great cakes! Or The Living Room, just to hang out and relax in the city or to drink their amazing ginger cocktail! My next place to try out is Candeur, cocktails and cakes! A perfect match for me!

Which kind of music gets you going? And which dance floors do you enjoy?

Mostly all kinds of electronic music, I have always had a love for bass, hard and fast beats and a lovely voice. Therefore I mostly listen to bands like  Massice Attack and Trentemøller. But in the moment while writing my thesis I have enjoyed the more classical style with pianos and especially Ludovico Einaudi, who did the some tracks for the soundtrack to The Intouchables.

Which brands and designers inspire you this season?

Marcelo Burlon has inspired me with his cool prints even though his clothes are simple, therefore I have been looking at some of his cool sweaters for this winter. The same for Kenzo, who has surprised me with their new more relaxed, young approach with their eye collection. Simple but cool.

One Danish up coming designer has also been on my mind, she has worked with both Anne Sofie Madsen and Barbara í Gongini and makes beautiful knitwear, Valeriya Olkhova. I saw some of her designs at Finders Keepers at the Sabine Poupinel stand and I was amazed. I am sure I soon will purchase a product from this new designer.

Do you dress more practically or luxuriously during fall and winter?

I guess both, for everyday use I dress practically and comfy, especially if it is snowing or raining.I hate getting wet and cold, so practical for those days and maybe something extra in the handbag to style up an outfit later on the day. But you can dress luxuriously even though it's winter with nice boots, a cool coat and amazing accessories. And you can always have the sexiest outfit underneath you warm coat!
