Anne Sofie Madsen must be my favourite Danish designer in the last couples of seasons, I love her creativity, sense of graphics and fabrics and her storytelling within the collections. I would buy it all if I had the money!
I have loved her previous collection without a doubt and the SS14 collection is no exception! I love the way the collection mixes Japanese manga characters with ASM's beautiful trademark faces /drawings as well as her well known universe. Together with the football and sport reference, it gives the collection a freah and modern look, the warrior women has moved forward in time - Post Human Speed.
The sport reference can be seen in the choice of fabric and detailing, like neoprene and shoelaces as well in some of the patterns like on the sweater with enhanced elbows or this jacket with the broad padded shoulders.
I love my two dresses from Anne Sofie Madsen, they are feminine beautiful, classic in style/pattern but very different because of the print, it really makes a outfit. That's why I like her designs, it's never too simple, there's always a twist.
Enjoy the collection below and be happy that the AW13 collection is out soon!
A classic look, and how I love it! She still uses the warrior woman look!
I love the tone in tone print, it looks so great and the "print" is of course not print but an application, which makes it even better!
Notice the new look in the print, the Japanese like creature and her name letter ASM in a symbolic letter casing. Very interesting approach for the newt summer season.
