Today I went by the Copenhagen Jewellery and Watch show in Lokomotiv Værkstedet, the same place where fashion fair CPH VIsion is placed.I haven't been to this fair before and I actually just found out that it existed. But I am happy that i found it, as it was a very nice rather small fair but with exciting new jewellery brands as well as older and more established or mainstream brands. Of course I am most for the first part ;)
I attended the press event and hear about the new trends for the coming season which I think I will sum up in another post. This post I will show some of the brands I found very existing and had some jewellery I definitely need to have on my wishlist!
Enjoy the list!
No9 Copenhagen by Birgitte Herskind
You may remember the name as Birgitte was the former and first designer of the Danish fashion brand S'nob de Noblese but now she has started her own company designing jewellery and soon a shop with both her jewellery and then interesting clothing brands and accessories. The shop will open this coming Monday on Pilestræde 42, the name is the same as the brand.
I feel in love with the cool studs (above) and this "pin" earring (below) with diamonds along the side! Amazing right?
Sparkling Josie by Josefine Bruus
Josefine is this very nice and friendly KEA student, who has started her own little workshop where she makes interesting designs. She does not have a production yet, but she is definitely one to watch. She might sell some at Finders Keepers, as she has done before, so remember to look at the exhibition list or follow her on Facebook or Instagram. I really felt for this solid silver ring, amazing right? My friend were ready to buy it right away!
By Valkeniers by Charlotte Valkenier
WOW!
Charlotte is first of all a very positive, friendly and forthcoming woman. She is originally from Belgium but her accent could cheat a little as her English is very good, actually almost native! She is a former student of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and also spent six months on an Erasmus exchange at Buckinghamshire New University, because of her love to the English people, art and fashion. She then decided to finish her BA studies at Buckinghamshire as well as pursue a Masters degree at LCF.
"Her pieces are recognised for their exciting and surprising mix of traditional metalwork elements and use of hand manipulated leather. " as stated on her website, which can be seen on the exhibited collection which is divided in two directions; the one with leather, Swarovski stones and metal closures, and then the one with metal and Swarovski stones. The last been more geometric and architecture inspired, which I love!

Wonderful necklace with braided silver coloured leather and metal squares and circles for detailing, I love it!!! Just my style - a must have!
Charlottes leather jewellery is often used for editorials and fashion shoots
Notice the small stones in the end of the bracelet, very nice detail!
Don't be square, but in this case it's just fine! In front you see the rings, in the middle back a triple finger/knuckle ring and to the back left, a bracelet.
More rings
It's hip to be square! And these rings are no exception, though I did prefer the one in the back, double finger/knuckle ring which is both a circle and a square.
Another two finger/knuckle ring with Swarovski stones in the end, cool detailing!
Bracelets with Swarovski details in the ends. The square ones look like matches. Pretty cool!
Beautiful earrings, simple but yet different!
The triple finger/knuckle ring, I must have! An art piece for its self!
Mielko by Charlotte Mielko
Charlotte Mielko is not new in the lifestyle business, she has actually been writing articles for years as a professional journalist, educated within fashion and teached in the art of styling. And now she has designed a line of beautiful doublerings. The rings are the same style but with different materials, finish or details. One for each event or styling. The seem raw but the finish and details seem to soften the look and make them very feminine as well. A look that would go for all women and events.

Saturn ring, Oxidized silver with rose gold ring, My definite favourite!
